Breakers Event - HUGE Success!

What a night for the 2nd Annual Breakers Coach's Game!!! While the coaches skated, the kids competed in accuracy, speed, and long shot competitions, and parents got to bid on some fantastic silent auction and raffle prizes! During game times, the entire rink was honored to watch all the coaches show their skills on the ice, including former NHL star, Brian Boyle. Olympic Ice Hockey medalist, Kacey Bellamy, signed autographs off the ice and we even spotted former MLB catcher, Jason Varitek in the crowd! What a treat to have such champion athletes in our presence. However, the REAL stars of the night were the families in attendance who have the most generous hearts, everyone was there to support the Breakers families who are battling cancer.

The night would not have been such a huge success without the help of John Cashman, Scott Romer, Danielle Larouco and April Lynn. They worked tirelessly and selflessly to make the event incredibly special and their attention to detail was evident throughout the event. And to the numerous parent volunteers who helped with the raffle, silent auction, and kids games - your hard work and kindness did not go unnoticed - thank you!
